Like a modern-day Annie Oakley, a recent Ohio State graduate often hits the mark in a traditionally male-dominated sport: shooting.

‘‘Until I hit college, I was the only girl I ever saw shooting, but that helped raise my competitive edge," said Jessica Marshall, an Upper Arlington native.

‘‘It was fun proving to people that being a girl didn’t mean I couldn’t shoot."
