I was thinking maybe Columbus Townhall’s first major event could be to have Virginia Walden-Ford.
executive director of D.C. Parents for School Choice come speak in Columbus. We could hold a fund raiser to pay for it, and she could speak on grass roots politics.

Lastly, I am an economics instructor for the CFA preparation and have a nice concise 3 lesson 3 hrs each overview course. If we can find a place to offer it, I would be willing to teach the same course to Columbus Townhall members that either wants a refresher course or introduction to economics. It is pretty thorough covering micro and macro, supply and demand, fiscal and monetary policy, and a whole host of other topics.  Because I am currently teaching, I would not be able to offer it to any Members that are either enrolled in the CFA program or are contemplating it. I don’t want to kill the golden goose that pays me to do this.  If interested take the poll so I can see how many people would be interested. You can search the internet for CFA review/preparation courses to get a better idea of the curriculum.
