Visits to the veterinary emergency room for pets are down 40%.
They don't stop needing this service. But, in the Obama economy, cash-strapped taxpayers opt for euthanasia rather than costly pet-care ER visits.
Another example of the new normal.
Had this taken place under a Republican, you can imagine the outcry.
You may now return to your usual programming.

Help me imagine what the outcry would be.
Tell me about the critics of the Bush economic disasters.
Do you think that Obama has no critics?

Only 88%?
Obama, Democrats got 88 percent of 2008 contributions by TV network execs, writers, reporters
By: Mark Tapscott
Editorial Page Editor
Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democratic candidates and campaign committees in 2008, according to an analysis by The Examiner of data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.
The Democratic total of $1,020,816 was given by 1,160 employees of the three major broadcast television networks, with an average contribution of $880.
By contrast, only 193 of the employees contributed to Republican candidates and campaign committees, for a total of $142,863. The average Republican contribution was $744.

Notice the use of past-tense. They confess to bias but then continue to lie about it. This is why I don't believe a single word a lefty vomits unless I verify it first.

Remember kids, it is the Tea Partiers that are the violent extremists....not the slimy, vile democrats and their sycophantic protectors known as the mainstream media.
Arrest warrant filed for Rahm's Chicago press thug
Thomas Lifson
In one of the most outrageous examples ever of liberal media doing the dirty work for a liberal politician, last Monday Jay Levine, a reporter for the CBS affiliate in Chicago assaulted WIND radio talk show host as he tried to ask penetrating questions of Rahm Emanuel. Dana Loesh wrote up a good account on Big Journalism:

I am not a fan of Juan Williams...he is not an intellectual powerhouse, and he defends scum democrats no matter the crime.
But I find the irony deliciously sweet when the liberal:
1) speaks honestly
2) speaks truthfully
and then
3) gets punished for it by trappings of his own party that he tolerates every single day.
Bye bye Juan! Maybe the mean old Fox News will save your a*s and your phony career!

Driving the liberal media out of business. Music to my ears!
To Hell With the Press
by Mark McKinnon Info
Mark McKinnon
Rick Perry won an unprecedented third term as Texas governor while actively shunning the press corps. Mark McKinnon on the GOP's trendy tactic—and how newspapers are fighting back.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry beat Democratic challenger Bill White, the former mayor of Houston, for an historic and unprecedented third four-year term by a whopping 13 points, a margin that surprised even his own pollster.
But what is really surprising is the way Perry won. Sure, he did all the traditional things well. He raised a ton of money. He honed a clear and compelling message and communicated it aggressively with great discipline. And he galvanized the Republican base. But, he also did something shockingly unconventional. He told the press to take a hike.

And now read how entrenched they really are:

The NYT has "principles" when it suits them. Slippery, slimy, scum.
The NYT published details in 2005 about US efforts to eavesdrop on Al Qaeda, and is publishing info from the stolen Wikileaks Iraq messages, but they they wouldn’t publish the ClimateGate emails.
Mr. Revkin, your selective bias, and the bias of your newspaper (and your Dot Earth Blog) is screaming loudly for all to hear.

Politico: Jay Carney Paid $270k by Time in 2009 While Working for Obama Administration
By Alex Fitzsimmons | February 15, 2011 | 17:37
Alex Fitzsimmons's picture
Jay Carney just assumed his new post as White House press secretary yesterday, but he already finds himself embroiled in controversy.
Despite leaving Time magazine shortly after the 2008 election to work for the Obama administration, Carney continued collecting payments from his former employer in 2009, Politico reported today.
According to newly released financial disclosure forms, Carney was paid $270,000 by Time while serving as Vice President Joe Biden's communications director, consisting of a $58,000 bonus for work during the 2008 presidential campaign and a $212,000 severance payment
