- Voters have said "NO" two times in the last 12 months to significant Property Tax Increases
- 46% of our district's residents have household incomes of $30,000 per year or less
That's 23,274 families in our district!
- There are other funding options for South Western City Schools, options that will not devastate our Senior Citizens and lower income families
- This Property Tax Increase is PERMANENT
- The School Board is on record that they will likely ask for another tax increase within THREE YEARS even if this one is passed!
- The School Board has proposed dramatic sounding "cuts". Yet there are no proposed actual decreases in revenue and spending. The fact is that SWCS revenue and spending will continue to grow at a rate exceeding inflation!
