A note from one of our fellow friends:
At our next public meeting, we will have a special guest:
Lt. Col. John Mitchel (USAF, Ret.)
Mr. Mitchel is running for the Republican nomination against Mike DeWine. Be sure to come and meet our next new senator for Ohio.
I am told that he is a "bona fide conservative and would like our support."

You're making it difficult for me NOT to attend.

I had the opportunity to have lunch w/Mr. Mitchell about 2 weeks ago and I believe this is the right man for the job at hand. You can visit his website at

On Tuesday, November 1st, the Harmon for Columbus City Council Campaign is hosting a Leadership Forum on Gang Violence at the King Arts Complex, 867 Mt. Vernon Ave., from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is open to the public, admission is free. We will explore gang violence in Columbus from a number of perspectives and conclude with an action plan. I apologize that this conflicts with your regular monthly meeting, but feel free to pass the word to your friends who might otherwise be available.
Best wishes,
Phil Harmon

Phil, why don't you add this to the calendar? It's unfortunate that is coincides with Columbus Townhall's public meeting.
