When the government started "protecting" children from intrusive parents. Remember, the govenment knows what's best for your child, not you.

You both nailed it!  Parents have no authority, as proven by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in their recent decision on sex surveys that were given, without parental notice, to 1st, 3rd, and 5th Graders in a California school district.

The courts said "There is no fundamental right of
parents to be the exclusive provider of information
regarding sexual matters to their children,"

Further, he writes, "parents have no due process or
privacy right to override the determinations of public
schools..."

WOW!!!!!!  Thank goodness that this particular court is overruled approximately 3 out of 4 times!!!  What a bunch of wackos!

It's ironic how parents have no right to educating their children on certain matters, as if the children were adults, but if your child runs away from home and gets into trouble, the parent can be held accountable for not controlling their child or keeping them at home.

Exactly, You are responsible for all of their bad actions, it must be the parents fault at that point because lib policy is perfect and is never, even in part, reponsible for a childs attitude or actions. Wink  These people are experimenting with our children, any quack lib child psychologist that comes up with a stupid idea will be embraced by lib educators and bureaucrats.
