The problem with this therory is that the Boy Scouts don't use ticket to get into the game, they get passes, just like people in the concessions. This is a totally bogus excuse, and I bet if they examine this, they will see that it is politically motivated by the gay agenda. Bottom like, heads should roll for this one. These people are paid by the tax payers, and their excuse it a pure lie. No tickets are being taken by the Boy Scouts. Further more, Boy Scouts are trained in First Aid and CPR. The gay agenda endangers us all. This could be political dynamite if they can tie this to a gay agenda during an election year. This will expose them as being ruthless, underhanded, dishonest, and fully behind the Democratic Party. Boy Scouts vs the Democrats.

Boy Scouts shut out of game-day gig, tickets

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

For as long as there’s been an Ohio Stadium, there have been Boy Scouts prepared to help people find their seats during games.

In exchange, the Scouts got free tickets for seats of their own.

The Scouts and their parents weren’t prepared for the notice about a week ago telling them the Scouts’ services were no longer needed and they wouldn’t be getting free tickets.

The university said the tickets were needed for students.

"We have enough ushers to take care of our needs," Associate Athletics Director Steve Snapp said, referring to the paid ushers identifiable by their red coats.

"Our students are our first priority. This year we had an increase in applications; about 30,000 wanted tickets. Usually we have 22,000 to 25,000 apply."

WTVN was all over this yesterday. One thing for certain is that even if the Boy Scouts were taking seats, the school could very easily taken the tickes and allowed them to be ushers and stand like the other ushers.

This is absolutely shameful ![/b][/size]

What is next ? . . . . I will bet somewhere there are OSU "Officials" considering removing the ROTC members from being the flag raisers at the beginning of each game . . . . "having uniformed military types sends the wrong message of what OSU & America is really about".
Also, here is another "obvious" target : "The marching band needs to dump the military style uniforms for casual civilian attire like Stanford's band, i.e Red blazers, white shirt (or even better: a shirt or blouse with a color of each band member's choosing), Gray pants, and white shoes". Won't that just be spiffy !
BTW, I graduated from OSU in 1973, after 4 years in the Marine Corps and 12 months and 29 days in Viernam, and I have contributed what I could since 1973 until June, 2004, when Karen A. Holbrook pulled her "no public hearings" illegal campaign to get Trustee approval of domestic partner benefits. Not one penny more from me, my wife (1968 grad), my two daughters (1998 & 1999) until that LyingSubversiveAntiTraditionLeftWingPinkoCommieFemaleDog is off the payroll !

. . . . As we used to say in the Corps, "Eat 'feces' And Die, 'Female Dog'!"

Tolerance is one thing, accepting this underhanded, backstabbing, dispickable, dishonest, unethical, and destrictive leftist tactic is a whole other issue. It is time we send a message to the left to leave us alone. The Boy Scouts are supported by parents, this is a heterosexual thing and organization. Boy Scouts are for children and families. We tolerate discriminatory and seperatist gay parades, gay bars, and a whole host of other exclusive events to the "gay" community, but what have they done for us?

Time to fight back. Boycott the following canidates and corporate suporters of the gay pride parade, and indirectly supporting the organization that is intolerant towards the Boy Scouts and anti-heterosexual.

OSU backed down and has invited the Boy Scouts back, but it ain't over yet. We need to know why this was done, who made the decision, why it was reverese, and what did they konw and when did they know the Boy Scouts didn't take seats before making this lie public. I am sure Huntington National Bank and the other sponsors don't want their corporate image tarnished by the pictures above.

It's time to cut funding to OSU. The university wouldn't have existed this long had it not been for the taxpayers of Ohio. This game day ticket bs has got to go.

The solution should be as follows. If your a legit student then your entitled to a game day ticket. The rest of the tickets should be a Joe Q Public first come first serve basis. The only reason the Boy Scouts are there is because "Mayor Mike Nagin" has squandered the city of Columbus' safety resources to the point they're lucky to provide the most basic of medical services.

It's time to bring back the OSU ambulance service that was cut in favor of the city receiving that contract. I laugh every time the dear Dr. Otto Marxist leaves more of his trash in the local paper opinion columns about how terrible one party rule has been for the state of ohio. If you really want a good snapshot of what one party rule does let's go for a ride one day and tour the city of columbus. Don't forget your bullet proof vest for the ride throught the most choice neighborhoods that the "talicrats" continue to fail to provide the american dream to.
