More photos of the pride parade. I don't give a damn what they do in the bedroom, but I draw the line when they tryu forcing their beliefs, values and lifestye on me, my children, the boy scouts and society. Just look at this behavior, do they reflect your values? Tolerance in one thing, accptance is a whole other issue, and indocternation is out of the question. They need to be more tolerant of families and heterosexual values in my book. Would you want your child to witness this in public? Hell no. I support the Boy Scouts over this kind of behavior any day.

I don't know if anyone noticed one of AdamSmith's pictures showed a group of employees from
National City Bank
marching in this parade holding a banner. I pulled my account from
National City Bank
prior to the last presidential election when one of their neutered tellers got smart with us.
Didn't I also see Mary Jo Kilroy signs in the same parade??? Send those to Deb Pryce's campaign.
Don't forget the Minneapolis St. Paul Police Dept fired a christian employee last week at the bidding of a local gay organization. The reason given was how can a christian be able to understand & make the correct decisions. This was after he was found to be a member on the board of a local christian organization.

The Thought Police of Minneapolis
If you’re a Christian working for the City of Minneapolis, watch your step – your job may already be in jeopardy. In what may be one of the most blatant acts of anti-Christian bigotry and discrimination by an American government agency to date, the Minneapolis Police Department has suspended a Police Psychologist, Dr. Michael Campion of Campion, Barrow & Associates, at the behest of pro-homosexual activists.

hey hey, someone has to go!
The university ran like a frightened rat in the last 24 hours, but in the process showed its hand.
Now they will consider other youth groups -- I assume their favored one will be MBLA Victims -- to help. So let us spell this one out. The stated reason for banning htescouts is they can't have the Boy Scouts since they use tickets. Then we discover the scouts don't use tickets, so they then say, well , maybe other youth groups. Bullshit!

I'm willing to bet the Stonewall Union is behind this little stunt. Remember the Boy Scouts are still on the hit list since they've refused to acknowledge the homosexual life style.
Something I've been doing for about 3 yrs now is only spending with certain companies that I know are safe (it drives the wife up the freakin wall) in the aspect of who owns them or who they support.
These little liberals had a whole lot to say after the last election and I believe economic power is the best message to send.

It looks like they are still screwing with the Boy Scouts.
Boy Scouts will return to ’Shoe
OSU officials to decide on job for group
Wednesday, September 06, 2006
Matthew Marx
THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
Boy Scouts can return to Ohio Stadium during the next home football game, but they won’t usher, an OSU official said last night.
"We’re going to let them back in," Associate Athletics Director Steve Snapp said. "We’re not sure what their functioning is going to be. … They are certainly back for this next game and I think for the foreseeable future."
Other groups might also get free passes into the ’Shoe during Buckeye football games, Snapp said, but exactly what they’ll be doing hasn’t yet been decided.
"We need to ensure their safety first and foremost," Snapp said.
University officials will meet with local Scout leaders this week to help determine an appropriate job for the group, which consists of boys ages 11 or older.
Snapp expects to know what that will be by the next home game, Sept. 16 against the University of Cincinnati. The Buckeyes play in Texas on Saturday.
For years, Scouts have been helping paid ushers, the socalled Red Coats, at the stadium in exchange for free tickets. Last year, the Scouts didn’t get seats but were permitted to watch the game while ushering.
A decision last month ended that tradition when the Scouts were informed they wouldn’t be needed for ushering. Yesterday’s announcement reverses that, to some degree.
"We have rethought it, and I think we have come up with a pretty good solution," Snapp said.
Ronald S. Green, executive director of the Simon Kenton Council for the Boy Scouts, said last night that he’ll discuss safe, productive and appropriate tasks for the Scouts with the university. He doesn’t want to see them picking up trash, he said.
"I have no idea what the scope of jobs will be," Green said.
Scout ushering worked well and was well-received by fans, Green said.
"It was expected and part of the lesson we wanted to teach. We wanted to earn our way," he said. "Many ushers started as Scouts."

"When I first ran for my City Council seat in January of 2001," she
said, "there were a lot of hot-button issues, and probably
none hotter
than the Boy Scouts."
Gay activists, atheists and the American Civil Liberties Union were
suing to cancel the Boy Scouts' sweetheart lease on land in the city's
Balboa Park because of their ban on gays and atheists.

Bush defends Boy Scouts
'Troubled' by Clinton-Gore probe, urges 'respect' for besieged group
Criticizing President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore for the government's current "discrimination" probe of the Boy Scouts, Texas Gov. George W. Bush said yesterday, "I am troubled by this memo appearing to suggest that the Clinton-Gore administration might sever the federal government's long-standing relationship with the Boy Scouts of America."
As the Washington Times reported yesterday, a division of the Interior Department has distributed a memorandum soliciting information on whether its ties to the Boy Scouts violate Clinton's recent executive order banning discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Boy Scouts attacked in Congress
Supporters force vote on revoking youth group's charter

Using parliamentary procedures to their advantage, members of the Congressional Scouting Caucus last night essentially defeated a bill aimed at punishing the Boy Scouts of America for the organization's ban on homosexual leaders.
The caucus, made up of about 80 Republicans and Democrats and led by Rep. Dana Rohrbacher, R-Calif., was able to bring a bill to the House floor for a vote even though it had never had a hearing in committee. Though the bill was defeated by voice vote, a roll-call vote will be taken today anyway.

BILL TO CUT SCOUTS' CONGRESSIONAL CHARTER INTRODUCED; PRESSURE BUILDS ON CLINTON TO RESIGN BSA POST
Web Posted: July 22, 2000
ouse lawmakers have introduced legislation that would authorize Congress to repeal its 84-year old honorary charter for the Boy Scouts of America because of the BSA's discriminatory policies. The measure, H.R. 4892, was introduced by Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif), and cited the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision which declared that the Scouting organization was an "expressive association" and could discriminate on the basis of sexuality when hiring troop leaders.

AMERICAN ATHEISTS URGES PRESIDENT CLINTON...
DON'T SUPPORT THE BOY SCOUTS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ATHEISTS!
merican Atheists is calling upon atheists, freethinkers, and nonbelievers everywhere to join with us in urging President Clinton to stand fast against bigotry and discrimination. As President of the United States, Mr. Clinton is awarded the position of honorary head of the Boy Scouts of America -- an organization which now has legal carte blanche to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and religious belief. Last year, for instance, he joined the Scouts for their National Jamboree celebration at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. The Jamboree was described as "a demonstration of Scouting's ability to develop brotherhood, a spirit of friendship and a source of understanding among young people."

The War Against The Boy Scouts
by Nat Hentoff 6/19/01
On June 28 last year, the United States Supreme Court -- in Boy Scouts of America v. Dale -- ruled that, under the First Amendment right of free association, the Boy Scouts had a right to remove James Dale from a leadership position. Dale had publicly declared his homosexuality, thereby violating the principles of the Boy Scouts.
Since then, the Scouts have been treated like pariahs around the country. Cities have barred them from schools. In some places, police can no longer sponsor Scouts programs in areas where kids have no other after-school activities. And "public-spirited" private organizations have stopped funding Boy Scout troops.
The American Civil Liberties Union affiliate in San Diego -- as George Mason University law professor Peter Ferrara noted in The Weekly Standard -- "is suing the city to evict the Scouts from Balboa Park, where they built and have long operated excellent camping and recreational facilities open to the public."

Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Sexual Orientation Discrimination
Timeline of Events
June 6, 1991
The Boy Scouts of America issued a position statement that read in part, "We believe that Homosexual conduct is inconsistent with the requirements in the Scout Oath that a Scout be morally straight and in the Scout Law that a Scout be clean in word and deed, and that homosexuals do not provide a desirable role model for Scouts. Because of these beliefs, the Boy Scouts of America does not accept homosexuals as members or as leaders, whether in volunteer or in professional capacities."
June 23, 2000
President Bill Clinton signed an executive order (#13160) barring government involvement in educational and training programs with any group that discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation.
June 28, 2000
A divided (5-4) U.S. Supreme Court in BSA v. Dale overturned a New Jersey Supreme Court ruling that the BSA violated New Jersey's public accommodations law by revoking James Dale's membership based on his sexual orientation, and that the law did not violate the BSA's First Amendment right of free association. The Supreme Court ruled that requiring the BSA to admit Dale did violate the BSA's right of free association.
July 19, 2000
Representative Lynn Woolsey (D-CA) introduced legislation to repeal the federal charter of the Boy Scouts of America. Co-sponsors of the bill include: Pete Start (D-CA), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Cynthia McKinney (D-GA), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), and Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC).
February 6, 2002
The Boy Scouts of America adopted a resolution in which gays and atheists were deemed unfit and unacceptable role models for scout youth. Although the Boy Scouts had an unwritten policy concerning gays, this was the first time in their 92-year history that it had become an actual resolution.

Pedophile Priests’ and the Boy Scouts 5/9/2002
‘Pedophile Priests’ and the Boy Scouts
By David Kupelian
© 2002 WorldNetDaily.com; originally posted May 8, 2002
“Pedophile priests.”
The phrase has such a great ring to it — for journalists, that is. It’s hot, punchy (with that double-p alliteration) and short enough for headlines. All in all, a great tag for summing up one of the most sensational news stories of the year.
The only problem is — it’s a lie.
It turns out the vast majority of the Catholic priests’ offenses do not involve “pedophilia” — sexual contact between an adult and a pre-pubescent youth. Rather, they amount to sexual seductions of teenage boys by predatory homosexual men who have abused their position of authority and trust.
“The real problem the Catholic Church faces,” explains Father Donald B. Cozzens, author of “The Changing Face of the Priesthood,” is the “disproportionate number of gay men that populate our seminaries.”
