Conservatives have traveled a long and arduous road to get our voices heard, fighting the inherent bias in the media and cultural institutions in our nation.

The advent of talk radio, the Internet and cable news channels has allowed more Americans to hear both sides of the political debate, but many hurdles still remain.

That fact became clear to me this week on a number of fronts.

One of my employees at the pro-troop, nonprofit group I lead, Move America Forward, was put in an awkward position when his son was asked by the principal of his school to remove the sweatshirt he was wearing.

It's time to defund NPR & PBS that's the bottom line here.

These are the same liberals who are screaming for restoration of the Fairness Doctrine yet they can't manage fairness on their own tv and radio programs.

Not to mention the various FCC violations certain WOSU air hosts (I don't believe personality is appropriate) are guilty of that still need to be addressed.

This is another blatant double standard of liberal friends on the other side of the isle.

I agree totally but not because they’re liberal but because they’re so GD conservative!

Ever since Reagan threatened to defund them they’ve turned into namby pamby conservatives who can’t say anything critical of the powers that be – except for their constant attacks on Clinton, of course.

I don’t listen to NPR or watch PBS so if either is supporting the reinstatement of the fairness doctrine please provide some documentation. I doubt that either has enough backbone to take such a stance.

Again, I agree 100% and I think Boyce Lancaster is the main culprit here –he plays way too much middle of the road traditional classical music and not nearly enough contemporary dissonant non-traditional music. I’m not sure exactly which FCC rules he’s violating

http://www.fcc.gov/oet/info/rules/

but I'm sure most of what he's doing is illegal.

if you want to do the research to find the rules he’s violated I’ll sign your petition.

Who in the world is Boyce Lancaster??? He sounds pretty irrelevant to me. We've the offending sound byte, it's date & time it's merely the matter of filing the complaint w/the FCC.
