Civil Rights Movement mirrors Orwell's Animal Farm.

In "Animal Farm" the revolution was started by "Old Major," an honorable and visionary leader who believed that "All animals are created equal." In the American Civil Rights movement Rev Martin Luther King dreamed of the day when "a man would not be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Unfortunately the benevolent and righteous Old Major was succeeded by "Napoleon and Squealer,"  two self-serving political opportunists and historical revisionists who metastasized  Old Major's beliefs into "All animals are created equal, but some animals are more equal than others." Rev Martin Luther King was replaced by Jessie "Hymietown" Jackson, Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton, and Louis "Nation of Islam" Farakhan. All are political opportunists that have done little for the real advancement of their community. They have reduced the civil rights movement to "outing" not existent or imaginary racists. They practice shameless and divisive Racial McCarthyism. Waste resources  on marginally beneficial efforts like bickering over state flags, and supporting the soft bigotry of low expectations with an affirmative action policy that adds 20 points to your application because of your skin color, not your character.  In "Animal Farm" the voice of opposition was "AdamSmith" an unselfish leader who worked tirelessly to promote the original intent of Old Major's ideals. He was demonized, ostracized and finally censored by being banished by Napoleon and Squealer. Today Colin Powell is labeled a "House Slave," JC Watts and Condolezza Rice are branded "sell-outs" and the NAACP essentially functions as a Democratic Party PAC instead of an organizations interested in the advancement of colored people. If Martin Luther King was alive today I am sure he would be ashamed that a National Hero like Colin Powell is not treated as role model, and corporate shakedown artists and  deadbeat adulterators like Jessie Jackson are viewed as heroes. Or that multi-millionaire Michael Jordan's son is given a 20 point advantage while an impoverished white child from Appalachia is not.

A former librarian at Ohio State University-Mansfield who was publicly accused by the faculty of sexual harassment – just for recommending students read the best-selling book "The Marketing of Evil" by David Kupelian – has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the school and faculty members, alleging they violated his 1st and 14th Amendment rights.

The case was filed yesterday (03-10-08) in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio by attorney Tom Condit, representing Scott Savage, a devout Quaker and former head of Reference and Instructional Services at Bromfield Library on Ohio State University's Mansfield campus.

Thanks for dipping into the CTH archive. Old Major made an incisive analogy in his comparison of Orwells lead protagonists to the Race hustling poverty pimps Jackson and Sharpton and of course one must depreciate the LIBERAL media that give these reprobates their currency and the Hooplehead Whites that trade with them.
