For those who can attend another non-virtual meeting checkout the calendar for this month's event.
Anyone with knowledge about video conferencing is invited to make it possible at this event.

Understanding how the parties use their Central Committees sounds like a very interesting meeting, however, CTHers should be aware that the filing deadline for Central Committee is 4pm on January 4.
Coincidently, January 4 is also the day that the central committees, at least in Franklin County, will be announcing who you will probably be voting for in November, at least for local races.

I take the long-term view.
It takes awhile to turn this big ship.
We need educate first so that we can encourage and empower later.
These things take time.
I hope everyone can attend.

Wednesday Evening @ 6:30 pm January 16th ColumbusTownHall will have some guests attending our monthly meeting from the Franklin County Central Committee.Actually Central Committee members in good standing to talk to us about what it means to be a Central Committee member.....what are their roles and responsibilities and how important they are to the party politic. It is anticipated that a Q&A session will follow. And of course after such "HEADY" and "INSTRUCTIONAL" exchange....the meeting will adjourn with a trip across the street to the "the Ole Bag of Nails pub for some refreshment.Bring a friend.

Sure, you can have seared Salmon and Eel…and many other things, but it’s best raw…
When I come up there – I’ll make some and bring it – how’s that?
I'll make you the following:

A REMINDER:
Wednesday Jan 16 @6:30 pm CTH presents an eye-openning tour of Franklin County's Central Committee organization as it relates to the body politic.Veteran committee members will be guests of CTH and explain the political structure and answer your questions about the elected office of Central Committee.
Dispelling the rumor....WestCoast will NOT be flying in with NW Sushi trays. We will however migrate across the street after meeting is concluded for adult refreshments at Bag of Nails Pub.

Greetings- As a former member of Columbus Townhall, I'm so happy to see Peter and the gang back! I loved going to meetings back when I was a student at OSU.
And the new forum software and host is quite snappy. Nice work, Peter! We missed you.
Does Salem's Townhall.com even organize meetups anymore? Their site has changed dramatically since CT was mildly active, and has shifted focus to more reporting and creating Fox News talking heads. And if they don't, what is Columbus Townhall?
Let me know how I can be helpful.

Nope, they're done with that. New ownership has brought a new direction.
CTH had not been affiliated with them in years. I've been out of contact with anyone at townhall.com for some time.
