Another bit of Corruption for Republicans to Celebrate (if only they hadn’t been caught):

Interior employees accused in sex, gift scandal

http://www.propublica.org/scandal/oil-for-sex/

The Conservative Mantra:

The Most Corrupt Government Employee is the Best One.

"The Best Public Servant Is the Worst One."

The Republicans believe that government is incompetent and they tried to prove it during the Reagan term and now again with the Bush administration.

The idea of the public interest or the nation’s interest is a joke.

Come now, IS. If you're going to post scandals, at least post important ones, such as the fact that the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee - the guy counting the days until President Obama signs his tax increases into law, doesn't even pay his own taxes:

Now, now Marc:

That oil-sex scandal is a BIG and funny deal.  Tweet, Snowball, etc. have been complaining about the high price of gasoline.  The Shadow does not know what this has to do with anything ) but the article you post is as relevant as McCain not knowing how many houses he/his wife own.

Oh, as far as the tax increase goes --- I assume you will see your taxes go up.

My taxes, however, will go down -- I don't make enough to merit an increase.

IS:

As a proud former resident of the great borough of Staten Island, I am quite familiar with the Fosella case. Please explain how this scandal rises above the Rangel affair, especially given that Fosella had the decency to step down. While you are at it, please explain how Fosella's difficulties rise above William Jefferson's (Democrat - LA). After all, the FBI says he took bribes and he did have the cold cash hidden in the freezer - which he went to retrive using the National Guard in the height of Katrina. Do you really believe that Fosella's affair rises above THAT?

Besides, I remember reading somewhere that scandals that were about sex don't count. Something about a blue dress...

MS the Demorats aren't sure what to do since there are key members of the party trying to run Mobama's campaign for him and are terrified that the lead they once held is long gone.

I don't ever recall a presidential race becoming so close this soon.

The people have been given a taste of life under the Dimorats and the poll numbers (if they're true) would reflect people are tired of endless bull sh*t investigations and our standard of living sliding further down.

The price of gas is now at $4 per gallon and this housing crisis was started in the 1979 under Jimmy Carter and went in to over drive during the Clinton Administration. When the bankers tried to warn of the consequences of these programs they were beat with the socialist stick and accused of being racist.

Melamine found in U.S. formula

Last month the FDA said any melamine exposure level is unsafe for infants.

One month later...

Friday the agency set a threshold of 1 part per million of melamine in formula.
(is 20 times higher than the most stringent level in Taiwan)

Strange? Corrupt? Inconsistent?
