Gay marriage ban overturned in Cali.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SAN FRANCISCO - In a monumental victory for the gay rights movement, the California Supreme Court overturned a voter-approved ban on gay marriage Thursday in a ruling that would allow same-sex couples in the nation's biggest state to tie the knot.

Sounds like the unions when a vote would be taken and they didn't like the out come of the members votes. The union would just ratify the contract. Why even have a vote?

What is the definition of common-law marriage and what are the ramifications under this new definition of marriage?

The California ruling overturning the state ban on gay marriages is not about homosexual rights to a legal "marriage". There are no rights to "any kind" of marriage........marriage is not a right yet the California 9th circuit court judges made it a right...a homosexual right. NO....this ruling is about judicial oligarchy. If this ruling stands...... a hand full of "princes" made law.......so spoke the KING ! A NATION NOT of self governance(Californians voted overwhelming against homosexual marriages) but of personal persuasion of a few.
