The question is - Is Michael Savage out of touch over Autism?, or has this been taken out of context?

First of all, I make it fairly obvious (see Signature) that I'm a fan of Michael Savage, however he has apparently - pissed off a ton of people over some comments he made over Autism.

Below is from CFP

During his July 16 radio show, Savage said, “I’ll tell you what autism is.  In 99 percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out.  That’s what autism is.”

Savage said, “They don’t have a father around to tell them, `don’t act like a moron, you’ll get nowhere in life…Straighten up.  Act like a man.  Don’t sit there crying and screaming, idiot.”

To answer this question suggests that Savage is sometimes "in touch".

Savage is an entertainer who appeals to a low-mentality audience.

There is nothing wrong with that -- except that some people actually fail to see that he is "just" an entertainer and start to believe some of the things he says and are, consequently misled.

I am not an egalitarian -- I do not believe that all people are equal in intelligence.

I didn't intend for this to insult anyone.

You have a link to a letter that you think makes a false claim about Rush Limbaugh.

1. Would you mind stating exactly what that claim is,that you think is false?
2. Would you mind providing some evidence showing that the claim is, in fact, false?

WC morally bankrupt lifeforms aren't ignorant they're will participants in a betting the marxist fraud. They do know better much like atheists whom choose to ignore God and remember time and time again the well documented last words of these life forms are "oh my god".

Having life long friends one whose child is autistic and another family whose Down Syndrome child functions better than most liberals this is what he's making reference to. If  anyone has ever taken time to attend the Special Olympics (which isn't any election cycle at the polls of which liberals attend) there are 2 parents of these children.

The first would be the type and kind that basically let's their child run over them only to continuously make excuses for them.

The second would be the type and kind that basically gives out tough love to help them possibly become functional contributing members of society. Even though these children will need life long attention to help them stay on this productive path (of which our marxist counter parts would learn a wealth of information from) they're at least pulling as much of their "share of the load" which is better than sitting back wasting away.

Could the dear Dr. Savage have explained this a little better?

Sure he could've just like Obama could've visited those wounded troops in Germany. Of course his advisers cautioned him against visiting for the simple reason they would've ripped his a** for supporting them and their mission.
