America is rapidly marching down the road to serfdumb Wink  and Liberals are trying to turn it into a super highway. The liberal's solution to solving the problem of having 14% of America uninsured, by choice or not, is to cover 100% of America. Isn't that throwing the baby out with the bathwater and swatting a fly with a nuclear bomb? Why should our Grandshildren pay for Donald Trump's healthcare? Does he really want or need it? Why should I give up my healthcare choices because someone else is having problems? Shouldn't the Government only cover the needy, not the greedy, or the already happily insured? In a world of limited resources, every dollar spent on healthcare can not be spent on National Defense. Case in point; Canada spends less than one half the NATO average on Defense, and less than 4 percent of what the US spends. I don't know about you, but I can afford health insurance, I can't afford to provide National Defense for myself. Single-payer is a euphemism for no-choice healthcare. We should not take away 100% of American's choices just because of 14%. Enroll that 14% in the VA system, have them pay for it through their service to our country in the Military Reserves.

Ignore

The government shouldn't even be responsible for the needy, as cold as that sounds. The needy are better taken care of through private charities, which are less likely to flourish if we think the government is taking care of it. Collectivist thinking always fails - if everyone is responsible, no one is responsible.
