I heard the GOP candidate for Attorney General speak last night. I was impressed. Here is his web site:

http://www.critesforohio.com/home

Mr. Crites is an Annapolis graduate who built a career in the Navy. He speaks passionately of service. He doesn't go negative other than to point out that the Democratic Candidate, Rich Cordray, has never tried a case in a courtroom which, I would think, would be a prerequisite to being attorney general and that Cordray supported Dann through the entire 16 months of the AG mess.

Mr. Crites showed a recent poll that shows him down by 8 and within striking distance. I love his TV ads which you can see here:

Crites said one of his first tasks will be to launch investigations into Acorn. He also made the point that he is not using the AG's job as a stepping stone to governor. This may be one of the most important elections of the year and has been under the radar. Check into it.

Marc,
A Crites victory would be a significant warning blow to Brunner.  The GOP must hold the state house too.
