Illinois Gov. Blagojevich, chief of staff, arrested

Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested by FBI agents on federal corruption charges Tuesday morning.

Blagojevich and Harris were arrested simultaneously at their homes at about 6:15 a.m., according to Frank Bochte of the FBI. Both were transported to FBI headquarters in Chicago.

The issue here is that he was supposed to appoint the Messiah's successor to the Senate.  Apparently he was angling for a spot in the administration or Obama's Senate seat.

Yea, but that thing's *bleeping* valuable!

What do you mean Illinois/Chicago politics is corrupt?

That's one of those referring to the religious preferences of the papacy or waste disposal habits of large meat eating mammals common to North America.
