The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution

I started listening to this audio book while driving and I am learning very much. I need to start over from the beginning alot because I hear something that takes me time to digest, and while I'm pondering what I heard there are even more things said that go over my head.

Would a Constitution Club be a good thing to have monthly meetings and lecturers? For example, it seems to me that too many people think that a state is the same thing as a province. Too many people think a federal government is the same as a national government. I've grown from my Ross Perot days and now I hate how I used to support popular vote presidential elections. I want to learn more.

I wish there was a way to hear lectures about the Constituion without going to law school... and law school would probably not even care about teaching those founding principles! I think this would be a very valuable way to learn and it would be good for educating newer conservatives. But I don't know if it is practical to find a speaker every month.

Well the way this kind of stuff has been working lately is that if you've got the idea, put it together and invite everyone else... could be a good idea!

Hillsdale College has a one week seminar on the Constitution starting May 31. 
I was thinking about it, but it is $1000.  I am sure it is top-notch being Hillsdale and all.

I mostly came back because I have a new friend I see on a daily basis and I really want him to join CTH. (bowhunter) He has alot of energy and could contibute alot to focused tasks and events, if CTH was going to do more in the future.

I am also very interested in the next senate race. I want to see if I will find a 3rd party or a Republican to support. I'm looking around to see how the race shapes up.
