It has been a while, but "I'm back !". Anyway, I wrote a couple of weeks ago to Kay R. Hagan, freshman senator (not capitalized on pupose) D-NC, urging her to vote "NO" on Health Care reform and Cap & Tax. Below is her form letter response with my commentary. The nightmare in Mark Levine's "Libery & Tyranny" book is coming true !

Subject: Health Care Reform
December 22, 2009
Dear Friend,
Thank you for contacting me regarding your concerns about health care reform. I greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts on these important issues.
(Yea, I'll bet you do !)Each year, costs associated with our current health care system increase. North Carolinians are struggling to afford insurance coverage, and the unprecedented economic crisis facing our nation has made it still more difficult for working families to manage medical costs while making ends meet.
So, why don't you lower the amount of money you keep taking from us ? In North Carolina alone, the number of uninsured has risen to approximately 1.8 million
(in what time frame, Kay? Is that 1.8 million since 1776 or what ?), which represents 22 percent of the state's population.
(Kay, of that 1.8 million, how many choose, yes I said "Choose", not to buy health insurance or use Medicaid, which most of the lower income American already qualify for ? I can understand why a lot of people "Choose" . . . there's that word again . . . not to use Medicaid . . . . it's another cumbersome, poorly run GOVERNMENT PROGRAM ! Kay, I am a degreed mathematician, and it really pisses me off when people distort numbers in support of an issue . . . are you listening Al Gore ?))
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, H.R. 3590, is a fiscally responsible
(BULLSH*T ! ! !)plan that will reduce the deficit by nearly $132 billion
(OMG, HOW STUPID DO YOU THINK WE ARE ?) in the next 10 years. I have heard from so many North Carolinians
(I'll bet you have!)who are cut off from health care because of pre-existing conditions
(I agree this is something that should be taken care of, but you really don't need to turn the entire health care system in the US upside down to fix that). Under this legislation, insurance companies will no longer be able to use ‘pre-existing conditions' as an excuse to deny coverage. The bill expands coverage and lowers costs by focusing on prevention and cracking down on fraud and abuse in the system
(Look out, America, here comes the "HSA Health Security Administration . . . . . yet another bunch of government "slug" security people carrying 9 mm Glock pistols to protect us from Grandma getting an "unnecessary" vaccination for shingles !). Additionally, the legislation gives states the authority to form compacts to purchase health insurance across state lines and regionally
(Once again, Kay, you could have done this without taking over the entire health care of the US population . . . Jeez, just saying that scares the ever-loving sh*t out of me !).
As you know, there are various opposing views within the health care reform debate, and I would like to address a few here. When crafting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Senate went to great lengths
(Whoa, Kay, me thinks you speak with forked tongue ! You mean Harry Reid made sure he controlled the contents of the Senate contents of the bill.! . . and that is a FACT, Ms. Hagan.)to ensure that if you have a health insurance plan that you like, you can keep it. Also, the Senate legislation would require Members of Congress and their congressional staff to participate in the Exchange
( Here's a question for you, Kay. Do members of Congress pay even one penny out-of-pocket for their "Cadillac" plan ? I think all of us unwashed lowly citizens already know the answer to that !), where the uninsured and other eligible Americans will be able to obtain affordable health coverage.
I recognize that medical liability reform has the potential to reduce medical malpractice insurance premiums for health care providers and decrease defensive medicine practices
(Right again, Kay. But once again, you all could have done something about this, without putting our physical well-being under ever-oppressive federal "thumb" . . . or should I say FIST !). Accordingly, I am in favor of President Obama's plan to implement demonstration projects
(WTF are "Demonstration Projects" ? . . . Oh, yeah, I remember, that's congressional code for "Put on a little show for the stupid public and then, Do absolutely nothing about it". We all know the trial lawyers have you Dems in their back pocket or should I say briefcase ?) to evaluate medical liability models being used and implemented around the United States.
In addition, concern has been raised about illegal aliens being able to receive medical services under health care reform. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act defines an eligible individual as a citizen or national of the United States who is lawfully present in the United States. Illegal immigrants would be explicitly barred from receiving services under the legislation.
(Uh, Kay, excuse me once again, but, Where's the enforcement provision ? Oh, you forgot to put that in there ? How F'ing convenient. Side comment at this point: The arrogance of people in Congress disgusting.)Also, some believe abortion services could be covered under health care reform. This is inaccurate, due to a long-standing federal law that includes a broad prohibition against using federal funds for abortion services. Health care reform would not change that prohibition, which is known as the Hyde Amendment
.(Yea, Yea, Kay, I know. You can add this later . . . we know how you reprobates work. BTW, the dictionary defines reprobate as a person who is "morally unprincipled; depraved". )Furthermore, it has come to my attention that some believe there would be rationing of health care services under health care reform. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act would not do anything to limit the ability of your doctor to pursue
( Ahhhh, there it is: the doctor can "pursue" the care you need, but the regional health care czar will be there to deny Grandpa's prostatectomy because prostate cancer is slow growing, so let's just, "wait & see") the course of care he or she believes is most appropriate for you. While the bill would fund research into the comparative effectiveness of various treatments, that information will simply serve as a tool for practitioners to use as they see fit.
(Yea, right, I'll just bet !)The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act specifically states that any recommendations made under health care reform shall not be construed as mandates for payment, coverage, or treatment of health services.
I will continue to work with my Senate colleagues
(Kay, your Senate colleagues are a bunch of self-serving arrogant scum-sucking narcissistic out-of-touch blowhards, and I am talking about ALL of them, Democrats & Republicans.) and stakeholders throughout North Carolina to help pass pragmatic, comprehensive health care reform. To view the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, I encourage you to visit
www.thomas.loc.gov.
(Thanks, but, NO thanks)Again, thank you for contacting my office. It is truly an honor to represent North Carolina in the United States Senate, and I hope you will not hesitate to contact me in the future should you have any further questions or concerns
.(Well, Kay, you have a Merry Christmas, and I hope you can sleep at night knowing you have been part of an action that is the single biggest step ever taken to reduce the Liberty of the American citizens since 1776. ) Sincerely,
(You people in Congress don't know the meaning of this word !) Kay R. Hagan
