While I usually try to see the ST movies on opening night, I have a
feeling  that this one will be a zoo.

I just bought tickets online at movietickets.com for the 4pm showing on
Saturday May 9 at the Easton IMAX.

Join me if you care to....

Oh...and live long and prosper.

Great movie!  But for you trekkies/trekkers, the time-line gets messed up.  In other words, what used to be canon is no longer.   If that doesn't bother you then it will be a great romp.

I ended up seeing it Saturday night. Great movie!  This movie was only about 10x better than any of the recent Trek movies.

Heck, my girlfriend is NOT into sci-fi, and she loved it.

I actually like the change in the timeline... makes it fresh and interesting. I like that Spock was edgier than I expected, and I like that Pike ended up in a wheelchair at the end, even if it didn't have a glowing button for yes/no :-)  (just in keeping with the show).

They really set up for a sequel... can't wait to see that.
