Monday, March 30, 2009.........Mark this date on your calendar, and in your memory banks folks. You can now tell your children and grandchildren that you've unfortunately lived to see the dawn of socialism in the United States of America. Don't believe it? Prove me wrong. When the President of the United States can fire a private citizen from his or her job, regardless of the circumstances, you are in a Socialist Republic. With the resignation of the CEO of GM, Waggoner, and the threatening of Chrysler to work out a deal with Fiat Motors, or else, that my friends is Socialism.

Many of you chuckled and laughed, said I was crazy or just bitter from the election, etc, etc. What say you now? If this is not the same as what Hugo Chavez does in Venezuela I don't know what is. Furthermore, the Administration is now in the auto business, the banking and mortgage industry, and the energy sector. Now the Goliath government beast that was the Bush Administration, has now morphed into a hulk - like entity on steroids times ten, the Obama Administration. This beast thinks it can run your healthcare too, and is working night and day to take over, and eventually decide you and your family's life and death decisions.

You can bet that from now on, the government will decide what "fair" compensation is and what is not, what industry should and should not survive. Where does it end? Maybe the Hollywood elites make too much money for the work they do? How about Major League sports figures, how much to do you make hurling a warped pigskin?

You can also bet that the Unions and their hack lobbyists are being paid off in spades for their unyielding, blind support of the corrupt Democratic Party, now firmly in control of the apparatus of government, using it as a sledge hammer to crush the free markets and to stoke the fires of class warfare and class envy.

It has in several months rendered Capitalism as we know it, DOA, dead on arrival. Not only that, the administration is on the fast track, with help from their cohorts in the Democratic Party, lefty kook organizations, global warming alarmists, ACORN, and George Soros money, to ram through every liberal, social, and economy strangling project, law, or program they've wished for since their grand ole days of smoking dope and dropping acid at Woodstock and bombing police stations in the 1960's.

I for one will not go down this easy, hopefully neither will anyone with half a brain in this country will wake up and through these bums out of office and hopefully start reversing the damage before it gets any worse, if that's possible. 95% of the Democrats should go, along with 55% or so of the Republicans should be bounced out as well.
We need to get back to our heritage, and to our great foundation of Capitalism, liberty, states’ rights, and most of all COMMON SENSE!

Our Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves, along with every soldier and relative buried on U.S. soil. We owe it to our kids and to future generations to turn this ship around. We were given a fantastic gift, a responsibility to be stewards of our country, its Constitution, and its original purpose; to be the world's greatest place to be free to prosper and to have the conditions to create wealth and prosperity for ourselves and our families and to give to others as we see fit, not how the government says we should.

We are stewards of this country, and Obama, nor anyone else in government has the right to "CHANGE" it as they see fit, they are only afforded the privilege of protecting it from just such an assault as we are going through now.

Think of the groups that are most "hated" in our society; lawyers, politicians, and car salesmen.

We have all three wrapped in one package in the White House.

I, for one, am disgusted beyond belief.

If I have to rely on the US Government for my GM warranty (Government Motors) I think it is time to buy a Honda.
Imagine car repair efficiency mirroring your experience with the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Gallup: Majority of Dems View Socialism Positively
Posted by David Paul Kuhn

The Gallup Poll reports that a majority of Democrats, 53%, have a “positive” image of socialism, which includes independents who lean toward the blue party.

Only 17 percent of Republican and GOP-leaners hold socialism in a positive light. In total, more than one-third of Americans, 36%, have a positive image of socialism.

Also viewing socialism positively: 61% of liberals, 39% of moderates and 20% of conservatives.

The poll comes at a precarious time for the political left. The headline of my column Thursday: "Dems Haunted by Revived Stereotypes." As I wrote, we have seen "the return of 'socialist' as a rhetorical dodge ball, evoking mid-twentieth century framing wars." Senator Joe McCarthy must be rolling over in his grave (or maybe it's Henry Wallace). This poll won't help Obama's effort to refute the resurgent stereotypes, whether its socialism or "tax and spend liberal."

Commissar Obama:

Volt Fraud At Government Motors

http://www.investors.com/NewsAndAnalysis/Article/550957/201010191855/Volt-Fraud-At-Government-Motors.htm

We heard GM's then-CEO Fritz Henderson claim the Volt would get 230 miles per gallon in city conditions. Popular Mechanics found the Volt to get about 37.5 mpg in city driving....

All electric? ....the Volt's gasoline engine will directly drive the front wheels along with the electric motors. That's not charging the battery — that's driving the car.
