It's official now -- the Ohio Senate resolution is SCR 13

The State Sovereignty resolution was officially introduced in the Ohio Senate yesterday, and has been assigned the number SCR 13. I think 13 is going to be our lucky number...! Write to your State Senator and urge him or her to support SCR 13!

Give a hand to the fine Ohio State Senators

Cosponsors: Senators Gibbs, Buehrer, Cates, Hughes, Schuler, Schuring

I just called my state senator and asked him to consider supporting SCR 13.

It's the easiest thing to do... just go to http://www.senate.state.oh.us/senators/SenateZipSearch.html and type in your zip code.

Call the number and tell them that you're a constituent and you'd like the senator to support SCR 13.

MUCH easier than the American Revolution.

Dear Senator _______,

Thank you for your commitment to your community and Ohio.  The number of “representatives” that are courageous enough to stand-up for their constituents and state these days is dwindling as they become more concerned with personal gain.  SCR 13 is a step in the right direction.  Lately the people of Ohio (and other states, I imagine) feel helpless to combat the increasing offenses and abuses of the federal government.  I’m glad that a courageous few have stood up in our defense rather than abdicate their responsibility.

I would also like to encourage you to propose legislation to reject the REAL-ID act as the state of Missouri has lately.

This bill would go a long way as does SCR 13 to protect Ohio against the overreaching hand of the federal government.
