Turning point?

Great post, Peter.  And as for Rachel Maddow, nice work.  (I didn't think MSNBC employed any journalists with enough integrity, intelligence, and common sense to critically analyze the real intent behind the words Obama so eloquently delivers from the teleprompter.)

As for his new policy, I sure hope Obama makes his new legal framework broad-based and non-discriminatory enough so it can be used on terrorists, AND anyone else the government decides poses a "threat". 

That way the government can keep Americans safe from, for example, the the tea partying, right-wing radical extremists, a group of wanna-be criminals who Obama might also want to put in an indefinite "time-out".
