So, the national slide to oblivion continues.  NASA can't even get us back to the moon in the next 20 years!  Of course, this needn't be the case if our spending priorities weren't so dumb.  Billions to destroy viable automobiles, but nothing for technological dominance of the world. 

I'm beginning to think someone needs to punch the "RESET" button on this government.

We punched the RESET button in the last election. Give it time to clear out the mistakes of the Reagan - Bush - Clinton - Bush years. It takes a little time.

Is that to say that the problems began with Reagan/didn't exist with Carter or that there is a 30-year lag in clearing out cobwebs? 

While some are adamant that it isn't the case, Obama, unfortunately, is only continuing on the same path as the Bushies and Clinton.  Where's the change?  Different party/race?

While I do have some issues with NASA, do you think we would be having this conversation about cuts had we not wasted tens of billions on climate phrenology?
