This was good until the last 30 seconds.

Conservatives conveniently forget that Obama inherited Afghanistan and Iraq and Guantanamo as well as a fiscal calamity that required massive spending.  Yes, it is Bush's fault.   Grin

Obama seemed to have all the answers prior to 11/08.  He's in the driver's seat now and doesn't want to deal with the consequences of making the right decisions so he's continuing with the failed policies of the Bush administration.  Don't forget, Bush inherited some issues from Clinton as well.  Bush, Obama and the Congress CHOSE to spend massively.  They are only delaying the inevitable.  Unfortunately many still think that you can spend your way out of problems.

You can't tell me that one single vacancy led to this mishap.  As it's been said, it's a systemic issue.  Libearals are using DeMint as a scapegoat.  Appointment holdups are nearly routine these days on capital hill.  I'm not saying it is right, but having the vacancy filled wouldn't have changed the outcome.

The multiple entry visa was given under the Bush administration. The system remained what it was under Bush because TSA does not have a top administrator.  Thus, it is Bush's fault  Grin

S:

You're being intellectually dishonest.  According to your logic, until the vacancy is filled, anyone that works for TSA won't know that they need to show up for work.
