I think it's safe to assume that most in the GLBT community and their supporters ascribe to the views of Darwin.  It's interesting how they need to take law and science into their own hands in order to reverse nature's course.  This is to satisfy their own desires whereas the benefits of law and science should be reserved to meet the needs of society.

Since Darwin's theory depends on the transmission of genetic characteristics what does it have to do with GBLT adoption?

That's the point.  Natural mating allows for this transmission.  Those who willfully do not naturally transmit genes rely on science and law to meet their desires.
