Check out this piece of work

Dems introduce “jobs” bill, includes renewal of PATRIOT Act provisions

special interest breaks
delaying scheduled cuts
light on new initiatives on boosting hiring and heavy with provisions sought by lobbyists for business groups, doctors and the satellite broadcasting industry.

The delaying of cuts to Medicare is an example of why talk of savings in ObamaCare is a lie. Congress will never cut those payouts, they have been delaying them for years.

Jamie Dupree also notes that the bill contains an extension of provisions in the USA PATRIOT Act. What does that have to do with jobs?[/quote]

I guess there wasn't enough spending in the Jobs Spending Bill for Voinovich.

The $15B Porkulus II cloture roll call vote: Scott Brown, the Voinovich pay-off & business as usual

Quote
Voinovich, who is retiring at the end of 2010, said he agreed to back the bill after getting a commitment from Reid “that he will bring the reauthorization of a multi-year surface transportation bill to the floor for a vote this year.”

Stayed of for few days but had to come back to see the reaction to Scott Brown's (and Voinovich's) vote.  Could have predicted.   As far as I have been able to find out most of the "pork" (one man's pork is another man's bacon) has been taken out.
