Census Take it ..Or not?

J.M.O.

Its your choice to take it or not...I am not thrilled with the Name and Date of birth ?.

Fact is they can NEVER prove you "received" or "mailed" the form as its not "certified" mail.

As a Bona-Fide.."street lawyer"... I say its unprovable in any court of law... so its your choice

This will enhance your paranoia  Grin There are many ways in which the government can ascertain your name and date of birth.  The letter you received (and wondered why) a couple of weeks ago showed whether mail can be delivered at the address shown (if not it is returned by the post office).  If you do not return your form you will be visited and someone will be paid (with your tax money  Grin)  for that visit.

Not Paraniod at all... Just a trouble maker sometimes... Fact is just because its a deliverable address... doesn't mean it was received....Since its not "certified" it could have been lost in the mail system.

AHH HA....Even the Shadow doesn't know

58 suspected illegal immigrants found in Phoenix
Story Discussion Posted: Tuesday, March 16, 2010 9:17 pm | (0) Comments

Font Size: Default font size Larger font size Authorities say they found 58 illegal immigrants in a west Phoenix drop house Tuesday following a lengthy police pursuit on a state highway.

Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves says nine suspected illegal immigrants were found in the bed of a truck underneath some plywood after the highway chase, and three more were in the cab of the truck.

Graves says officers developed information from the pursuit and found the drop house, where there were 58 suspected illegal immigrants, including two smugglers and 11 children ages 10 to 17.

The group had been in the house for about a day, and no evidence of violence or extortion was found.

Investigators say most of the immigrants are from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, and they paid around $6,000 each to be smuggled into the U.S.

All were taken into custody

My understanding is you are legally required to fill out the name, address and number of people in the house hold. ... That's it.... I'm thinking of toying with the "ethnicity/race" thing... do I go ahead and Claim my native American heritage now? hmmmm or just put that I'm part of the "human" Race?

U.S. Constitution
Quote
[An] Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.

Quote
TITLE 13 > CHAPTER 5 > SUBCHAPTER II > § 141
§ 141. Population and other census information
(a) The Secretary shall, in the year 1980 and every 10 years thereafter, take a decennial census of population as of the first day of April of such year, which date shall be known as the “decennial census date”, in such form and content as he may determine, including the use of sampling procedures and special surveys. In connection with any such census, the Secretary is authorized to obtain such other census information as necessary.

This is the law, but do you consider it to be just?

Your address is already on the form.

Originally required:
Name of head of household
number of white male adults
number of white male minors
number of white women
number of other free persons
number of slaves

Thoughts on this year's questions:
  • Question 2 and 10 are redundant if you carefully read question 1
  • If the government wants that answers to questions 3 and 4, they can get it themselves
  • Question 8: Why is this census singling out Hispanics?
  • Question 9: Who refers to himself/herself as a "Negro"?

The Census Bureau should conduct a straight forward census and stop wasting people's time.  If they want to conduct a survey, do so, but once the important stuff is out of the way.

I am Uncomfortable with... My Name  with Date of Birth... and then Age...Even had my I.D. stolen..with that excact info....they got a capitol 1 credit card ....took me 6 months to fix it

Why do they need age/D.O.B.?....They will get a Partial Census from me...
