Who’s To Blame For SEIU Thug Tactics at Bank Exec’s Home? Would You Believe The Tea Parties?
by Larry O'Connor

We’ve always known that there’s no equivocation a like leftist’s equivocation.  But this one has raised the bar (or do I mean lowered?).

Megyn Kelly interviewed Erica Payne on the thug-like tactics of SEIU this past Sunday as hundreds of them stormed the front door of Bank of America executive Greg Baer’s home.  Payne barely gets out a perfunctory condemnation of the mob tactics before she launched into a hilarious attempt at blaming the Tea Party activists as the root of the problem:

Yes, you saw right.  This is a laughable attempt at equating the organized and approved mob scene sponsored by the SEIU with one lone nut who posted a ridiculous and offensive suggestion on his blog in the wake of the health care vote.

When liberals do this it is civil disobedience, when conservatives do it, it is domestic terrorism.  How many Tea Partiers have been arrested for violence?  Zero?
If hypocrisy were a crime, there would be a lot of liberals rotting in Mexican prison right now.  One can only dream...

Civil disobedience rises in New York City, across the nation over Arizona immigration law

Juan Gonzalez

A little after noon Tuesday, a red double-decker bus packed with tourists came to a stop in front of the Federal Building in Manhattan. Its astonished passengers rushed to take photos of the scene.

There, stretching across Broadway in three neat lines, was a crowd of protesters blocking traffic and singing, "We Shall Overcome."

"This is not Arizona," read one of the protest placards.

For the third straight Tuesday, cops arrested several dozen religious and community leaders who engaged in civil disobedience aimed at pressuring Congress to fix the nation's broken immigration laws.

Fifty-six were arrested this time, on top of the 53 in the previous two weeks.

Another union thug loose on the streets....

Obama Supporter Assaults Tea Party Protester
By Jim Kouri  Friday, June 11, 2010

An enraged supporter of President Barack Obama attacked former congressional candidate Nathan Tabor during a Tea Party demonstration in North Carolina.

On Tuesday, the North Carolina Tea Party Patriots were holding a legal political protest against government bailouts. The Tea Partiers were in front of Rep. Mel Watt’s (D-N.C.) Greensboro, NC office.

During what cops characterized as a peaceful protest, an enraged man, later identified as Governor Spencer began to hurl vulgarities, disrupted the protest, argued with individuals and then became physically violent.

Governor Spencer then punched the Chairman of the Forsyth County (NC) Republican Party, Nathan Tabor, a North Carolina business owner, head of the Forsyth County Republican Party, and a former candidate for the U.S. Congress.

Investigation reveals that Governor Spencer is a union organizer, a socialist and a black liberation activist. According to political activist Bill Gheen, Spencer led the Greensboro K-Mart protests of 1995 and mobilized families, communities, and “the Pulpit Forum of Greensboro, a coalition of progressive clergy, to commit acts of civil disobedience.”

Honest people know who the real racists are; those who were members of the KKK (Byrd), those who sat in the pew of racist church for 20 years (0bama), those who think of people in terms of the lightness of their skin or their Negro dialect (Reid), those who think blacks should be serving them coffee (Clinton), those who live in Hymietown (Jackson), those who are diamond merchants (Sharpton), the Black Panthers, New Black Panthers, Congressmen who lie about being called racist names..and all of their unapologetic supporters.

SHOCK: Video Suggests Racism At NAACP Event
Official At Freedom Fund Banquet Says Racial Considerations Would Be Factor For How Much Help Afforded
NEW YORK (CBS) ―

Last Tuesday, the NAACP passed a resolution condemning racism in the Tea Party movement. The organization's delegates called on Tea Party leaders to "repudiate those in their ranks who use racist language in their signs and speeches."

Tea Party members and supporters saw the resolution as a condemnation of the group itself, which calls for fiscal responsibility, restrictions on governmental power, and backs political candidates who claim the same.

The NAACP's action caught the attention of Andrew Breitbart of BigGovernment.com, who said the controversy was "absolutely manufactured for political gain," in a summer "in which the economy is the number one issue affecting blacks and whites in this country. This country can ill afford the schism of race to be exploited the way [he is] based upon the false premise of the Tea Party being racist."

He also claimed to possess recorded evidence of racism from the NAACP.

On Monday, Breitbart posted a video of a speech by Shirley Sherrod, USDA Rural Development Georgia State Director, delivered at the NAACP's 20th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet.

The video shows Sherrod speaking of racial considerations being a factor for how much help she would give.

Poor  Andrew Breitbart    :'( :'(

"The whole key to this story is that Andrew Breitbart was set up. He was sent a tape that, as we now know, was massively out of context. It did look like this woman was saying something racist. When she first said it was taken out of context . . . we've heard that before from politicians telling racist jokes. This is the first time in world history it was literally taken out of context.

"It was a lovely speech. Of course the White House reacted that way -- of course you reacted the way you did. Anyone would have. I think Breitbart ought to reveal his source, because he was set up. This was a fraud. The person who sent the edited tape has to know what the full speech said, and whomever sent only that segment to Andrew Breitbart is the one who should apologize to Shirley Sherrod."

What an interesting turn of events!  Here at Red Square I overheard several conversations blaming...you guessed it, Fox News.   The media attacks were so off-base, even Howard Kurtz defended FNC!  Wow.

And now, we find out that while she used to be a racist, but is no more, she still has a thing for those darn rich people.  I guess the hate has to go somewhere.  And what does she want to happen to Fox New?  Shut it down of course.

This e-mailer has it exactly right:

Quote
Mr. Goldberg,

I sent you one of the many emails that I am sure you received about the Sherrod speech and your statement that she is owed an apology from Mr. Breitbart.  The goal on the left is going to be to use this discredit Mr. Breitbart and say that anything that he posts can't be trusted.  It is going to come up now everytime he exposes some liberal shenanigans.  "Well, he can't be trusted.  He posted that Sherrod video and that turned out to be a hoax."

Plus, I still stand by my argument that if that had been a tea party guy who told some story where he says he used to be a real racist, no one would give him the benefit of the doubt.  Let's say he told how back when he was starting out as a public defender and he thought that blacks were criminals and drug dealers and he had his first young black defendant and he admitted that he was sure this guy was guilty and a typical black guy and maybe he shouldn't do his best for him and it would be better if he did go to jail.  And then the tea party audience started laughing and saying "Yeah, they are just like that."  Of course, then the speaker goes on to tell how he did find some evidence that this guy wasn't guilty and he changed his ways.  How do you think that this would be handled in the media?  Do you think that this guy would be showing how he can overcome his racism?  I don't think so.  And if Politico put out this video and just put out the part about how this guy thought he shouldn't do his best for him, what would the coverage be?  Would this make the evening news?  And then if the whole video came out, what would the coverage be of that?

Fundamentally, this is just a White House screw up for firing her.  Obama and his crew are the only people who should be apologizing.

Black Conservatives Confront NAACP on Racism Charge
by  Elisabeth Meinecke

Black conservatives denounced the NAACP on Wednesday over the group’s accusation of racism in the Tea Party movement, saying they have attended numerous Tea Party events without seeing signs of racism.

NAACP delegates recently passed a resolution condemning what their website describes as “extremist elements” in the Tea Party, pointing to unsubstantiated accusations of racial language used against members of Congress during the healthcare debate earlier this year.

“There are two types of people I have yet to meet at Tea Parties: one, racists, and two, anyone who owns a yacht,” said Kevin Jackson, author of The Big Black Lie and president of Black Conservative Coalition. “And if I did find a yacht owner at a Tea Party, I bet you he’s paying his taxes”—a reference to Sen. John Kerry’s tax dodge by registering his yacht in a different state.

Liberal group forms “F*CK Tea” effort
By Alex Pappas

A liberal group is attacking the Tea Party movement with a new project called “F*CK Tea” to discredit the solutions offered by conservative activists. It is a three-tiered campaign that includes selling t-shirts and coffee mugs with the derogatory slogan on it.

The group’s founder, Erica Payne, said the effort is intentionally edgy.

“When you look at their world view, somebody has to say f—k that. That’s not the right direction to go at,” she said in an interview.

The effort, Payne said, is meant to make people “stop a minute, and really look at the ideas” of the Tea Parties. While she said she sympathizes with what has motivated many conservative activists, ”I just think they’re solutions are fundamentally are wrong.”

The project has been in the works for several weeks, she said, and the group first gave the “F*CK Tea” merchandise out at the liberal Netroots Nation conference in Las Vegas. They started promoting the project with the media this week.

The effort is being spearheaded by the liberal group Agenda Project, whose mission, according to its website, is “to build a powerful, intelligent, well-connected political movement capable of identifying and advancing rational, effective ideas in the public debate and in so doing ensure our country’s enduring success.”
