My arguments are being ignored or insufficiently rebutted, my evidence has generally not been addressed, and it seems nothing productive is being created here.
I'd agree that there hasn't been much productive outcome, but i think you're mistaking the cause for the symptom. The problem (in my opinion) is that you're trying to use evidence in a moral discussion. morality isn't determined by "real world examples," except for utilitarians. I more enjoyed the conceptual/philosophical aspects of this discussion, and I think they were adequate enough to continue discussing, but to each his own. It's been fun.
